In response to the tsunami disaster, a vast amount of expertise has been gathered to address problems from shelter construction to livelihood rehabilitation to mental health counseling, among many others. This hub will house a collection of technical documents so that expertise and work-product can be shared, thereby alleviating the need for every participating organisation to start each new project from scratch.

Auroville NCKRC is conducting workshops and trainings in collaboration with other organizations in Auroville. These organizations are: Centre for Scientific Research (CSR), Eco-Pro, Shakti, Botanical Gardens, and the Earth Institute. These workshops and trainings aim to build capacity and strengthen the long term tsunami recovery process. Workshops and trainings are being offered in:

• Sustainable Habitats
• Sustainable Building Practices
• Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems (DEWATS)
• Effective Micro-organism (EM) Technology
• Eco Restoration
